leo, artesmia, etsy 015 Who recommended this book?  I wish I could remember because it turned out to be one of my favorites!  I love historical fiction and am surprised I never stumbled upon this one.  It is everything you could ask for…Italy, Art and a strong Woman!  You can tell the author has a knowledge and a love for Art.

I can’t encourage you enough to read this book… I bought mine for a penny from Amazon, but maybe the Library has it if you don’t want to make a big corporation bigger.

The Passion of Artemisia  by Susan Vreeland.  Yum…Read it!

  2. oh yeah! It was me! I'm so glad you read it and love it! Makes me kinda glad we live in this century though, huh?! p.s. I'm in love with your Frida Deer...I'm saving my pennies...xx

  3. Not really into historical fiction, but I'll check it out.

  4. Julie, Make me an offer, I would love to see her go to a good home...that's what makes me happy!
