My Adventure Part I

I’m back from my less than 24hr vacation. Since there were no interstates involved and the car ride was only about 35min, there was no anxiety!

It was a magical trip.  Thank you to everyone who wished me well and crossed their fingers (or eyes) for me, it worked!

It all started in June when I finally got to visit the shop of my dreams.

Lititz 011 The owner, Lori Piazza, is an energetic, creative, generous and optimistic spirit.  She has a shop filled with refurbished furniture, chandeliers, mirrors, old time portraits, knobs, glassware…just everything sparkly and delicious.

Lititz 013 Isn’t she great?

Lori told us about ‘Second Fridays’ in Lititz. Every second Friday of the month all of the shops are opened until 9pm.  There are specials, refreshments and musicians in the street. Like a walk-about party.  She also told us where to stay.

Lititz 005 the Alden House, a sweet B&B.

Lititz 006 Here’s the porch where we shared a bottle of wine after all of the shopping!

Click on the pictures and stay tuned for part II of this adventure.  I want to show you everything I bought and some of the other shops I loved.  Right now I am leaving for the Mt. Gretna Art Show.

I know. Life is heaven, isn’t it?

xox, Lisa
