Life is a Peach

This week’s challenge at Inspiration Avenue was Peaches and Cream.  I found this to be very difficult.  I made a few false starts and total disasters.  In the end, I spent a lot more time on this than I wanted to…and I am not happy with it.

DSCN0391 Oh well, you can’t win ‘em all.  Monday is a fresh new week…

  1. I think it's really cool! I'd love to know what the materials are... it almost appears as though the peach is metal or painted. It's beautiful whatever it is.

Oh and it's your first submission as an official team member, how cool is that!?!

  3. Looks perfectly peachey to me! (That's a very bad joke I know, but I'm tired...). What did you make it with?

  4. Peaches and cream sounds like it should be an ice cream combo. Or the name of a sweet little kitty, or the combination of flowers you are wearing on your head. :)Bea

  5. hey! that looks so cute! it looks exactly like the chinese peach ornaments that we use as decor during festivals. they usually hang off the "longevity deity" ... and denotes longevity and luck. is that polymer clay?

  7. Reminds me of the Giant peach in Gaffney, SC. We pass it every time we visit my BIL. I like it very much. Glad you partook in the challenge.
Have a lovely week. Stay warm.

  8. I really like this, and I know that usually when *I* don't like one of my pieces, it's because I'm just too close to it at that point......I think your peach is great!
