New Book, New Art, New Promises

I just got this book in the mail.
It is suppossed to inspire me to clean up my wreck.
You know, make my studio look like a piece of art.  Sounds like a great idea.
I have only allowed my self to flip through it.
The pictures are...wow!
I can't wait to sit down with it.
I got a great deal on it at amazon.com.

Right now I am working on this:

I am a sloooow painter, but I hope to finish it tomorrow.
Then I have catch up on eveyone's blog.

Thanks for the sweet comments on the video.
I am extreemly self-conscious.
It's not like I am not used to talking to myself,
but when I can see myself
and I start thinking about my lisp...
everything I wanted to say evaporates.
I am going to challenge myself to do it more often.

And I AM going to make my studio Priti.

There.
I said it.
Now I will do it.
XO
Lisa

  1. You are far braver than I. Each time I open a studio book..I tailspin and usually end up buying more plastic containers to put things in. This looks like a great find though!

    Have a great day

  3. I loved your video. It is always so interesting to see people in person or video I guess I should say. I also loved the pictures of your gathering. Very funny. Sorry to hear you did not win anything. Better luck next time and good luck on the studio! Jennifer

  4. Ahh, thanks for the lovely comment you left for me today. So pleased you like my angels. I'm so excited about them!

Glass crystals and vintage bottles have become my newest curiosity. I'm loving the way they compliment each other.

Here's hoping you also have the best of weekends! I'll be in the garage for most of it, trying to learn to get my solder lines straight. I'm use to letting paint fly loose and free, but with solder, it's a whole nother practice. When solder gets loose..fingers get blistered and glass crystals get broken.

    Blessings, joy and sunshine, Terri

  9. Hi Lisa,
I love my copy of Lynne's book. Inspirational use of space but even more importantly, the studios are pictorial statements about the artists.
