Paisley

This week the prompt was Paisley

at Inspiration Avenue.

I have an easier time with the intangible prompts.

But paisley it is.

I just painted an old step-stool.

  1. OOOOOOOh, I love the little stool and I love your rocks. I can't tell with my monitor is that a birdbath? Looks like a birdbath. I have some black rock around my sundial in the garden. Not nearly as NEAT and pretty as you have arranged yours. I'll have to rethink mine. :)Bea

Your house must be awesome with all of your art around.
Hey I'm reading "Portrait of an Unknown Woman" you recommended...yes it's great.

  5. Love the bench but oooh, that rock spiral...hmmm, I think the rock fairy may just be inspired to create something like that herself...

  6. Wonderful paisley painting, I love the vibrancy! Your rocks are very "Zen garden" - there's something quite grounding and peaceful about natural objects :)

  7. Oh you have just given me an idea for my foot stool. It was made by my son many years ago and it is still as sturdy as sturdy can get, but does neet a paint job. Thanks, yours looks great. Have a great Sunday.

  9. I love your creativity! Your stool ROCKS! and so do your rocks! (if rocks can rock)? I'm going to have to take another look at those rocks in my backyard I just called "stupid". :) (that was after I hurt my foot on them)!

  12. Great response to the paisley prompt. I always think of my GM when I see paisley as it was her favorite print.

  13. The step stool is so pretty and I love what you did with the rocks. My rock areas are full if weeds right now. You are making me feel very guilty with your weedless garden. Love the wine glass. I love the Menage a Trois wines. They are a step up from my usual Barefoot nights. Ha ha

  14. Lovely paisley! Great interpretation. I need to make art...it makes me happy, but I've been in such a funk lately. Thanks for reminding me. See you tomorrow for wine glass Wednesday.

  15. Oh I love seeing that painted stool because I have a small coffee table that I've been wanting to paint, and I've had a vision of it in my head but didn't know if it would be too much. But your design and swirls and letters--they all look great! I am definitely inspired!

Thanks for sharing all these photos!

    Rock on. HA!
