Patron Saint of Indecision

This week the challenge was DECIDE.

Wow!  I didn’t have a clue on what to do.

I almost decided not to participate.

In the end, me and my guilt, decided to do something…

anything…and I did have to do a page for my Sketch Book Project.

I used a sketch for my newest painting,

and one of my favorite poems from e.e. cummings.

This sketch book project is a real challenge for me.

But I am glad I forced myself into it…

Here is a peek at my new Tarot Card painting.

Have a Happy Sunday

and visit Inspiration Avenue to see

what everyone else decided to do.

  3. The patron saint of indecision - now there's something! Wonder what she did (or indeed didn't do) to deserve that!

  4. AWESOME. This is a beautiful piece. The sketch alone has captured the theme. She looks very deep in thought trying to decide. But then you added in the E.E. Cummings poem and that added even more deepth. Beautiful and powerful piece.

  7. As usual Lisa, I come to your blog expecting to adore your submission - and I do! I'm so predictable lol! Gorgeous - poetry in both image and words :)

PS I had never heard of the word illimitably before and had to look it up to make sure I had correctly guessed what it meant! "Impossible to limit or circumscribe; limitless" - what a great word!

  10. Hi Lisa.:) I'm back from San Jose yesterday afternoon. There is no place like home, no place like home, no place like home, oh...I said that. Tee Hee. I think it is great. I love your newest painting and she goes well with that poem by e.e.cummings. Beautiful lisa. The Tarot card is going to be awesome as well. I wish I had the time to learn how to do these small cards. I bought a whole bunch that were on sale at Michaels and they are all in packages. Trading cards, blank ones. I will some day learn or maybe make very small copies of my paintings and glue them on there. A lot of people do that. Got to go. I will be posting sometime later this evening on the giveaway. Don't forget to join in the fun and bring your friends with you. Tee Hee. Have a great rest of the day.

  21. I ran over here from Stephanie's blog post about you after seeing ee cummings in your work. His words have been a part of me for 25 years and he's indescribably part of the construction of my soul. To see you use his poetry with such beautiful work is just amazing. Thank you!
