Virgin a Day 7

My shining Daughter, Mia.
Dance is her Art.
Her Prayer.
Mia
We are all meant to shine,
As children do.
We were born to make manifest
The glory of God that is within us.
It's not just in some of us;
It's in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,
We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we're liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others.
~Marianne Williamson
Shine on.
I have to thank everyone who has been a part of
Rebecca’s quest.
For me, it has been the week that changed me.
I have prayed more,
been more grateful,
and
have seen the world and everyone in it
more clearly.
I thought I was on the path before.
Now I am sure.
You have all helped me in my journey.
And!
We are not finished yet!!!
Won’t you join us?

  5. Yes this has indeed been a grace filled time for me also. I always spend May making altars for Mary and after this little meme will have a perpetual alter to Mary. My Jesus shrine is in my garden. My Holy Family is in my living room. Blessings

  13. O chestnut-tree, great-rooted blossomer,
Are you the leaf, the blossom or the bole?
O body swayed to music, O brightening glance,
How can we know the dancer from the dance?~ W.B. Yeats from Among Schoolchildren.
Lisa,This is simply beautiful. Nothing more pure and divine than a child reaching heavenward with all her bright energy toward the stars of self-acceptance and infinite hope. I am so glad to have gotten to know you better during this time and to have shared this journey with you. Thank you for all that you share with us, the beauty, and the spirit.
    xox,

  16. Dance is my first love. I understand your daughter's love and passion for dance. I still take ballet at 57 years old.
But, you are so right. This meme is life changing. I did this last year and once again, the depth, the connection, the spirituality is life changing, for sure.

  17. Peering through into your life this way is a gift in itself, thank you for showing us your treasures, your daughter being at the heart. These words of Marianne Williamson are very liberating in themselves, and here we all are twinkling together like stars in the night sky!

  19. The best part of this post for me today, besides the beautiful photographs, are your words admitting to having a life changing experience because of what you have experienced. We never know everything. Always more learning and understanding to be had. Now, I have learned from your words and I am motivated and inspired to pray more and be grateful. It is a round circle.

    Peace

  20. Thank you! And I echo everyone who wrote before me.

Yesterday's photo of mine was from an email I received once upon a time. My children were far to skinny to be like that little jewel! I would claim her in a heartbeat though!

    Peace be with you,
    Shannon
