Haiku my Heart♥

Season of wonders
Peace is the absence of time
Forgotten Garden

These are some of Gemma's Angels
I painted in her Art Journal.

This is book is part of our
and Gemma's book is all about purple.
That was a real challenge for me
as purple is not a color I ever use and
my discomfort
made me struggle.
And I wanted to make very special pages
because Gemma is so dear to me.
At one point I started to cry with frustration...
as I sometimes do
when the magic isn't happening.
But,
I finally said to myself,
ENOUGH!
And the book is packed and on it's way to the UK.

Speaking of Britain,
There is a video at the bottom of this post...
you will be awe-struck, I promise.

Love,

  5. I just love the challenge that the different colours pose. White was really tough. This is lovely though, so personal. I can't wait for it to come my way!

I watched the video. At the beginning I got goosebumps, then I cried. what an outstanding troupe of performers, hard to believe it was all done with the silhouettes of their bodies!

  18. I love your purple pages Lisa, your tears whilst you were making them were unnecessary! Your angels with flowers in their hair are truly beautiful! I have an angel of my very own that you painted in my last journal and she makes me happy whenever I see her. The picture of you and Gemma and the caption made me smile - you both look very happy and at ease in each others' company :) x
